Bruce Sternberg has 35 years of experience in the design and development of over 1,600 units of housing, including rehab and new construction, single family, duplexes, rowhouses, and multi-story apartments. His awards include two California Council AIA Merit Design Awards, an Oregon Governor's Livability Award, two Gold Nugget Awards, runner up in a national affordable housing competition, and winner of a West L.A. Chamber of Commerce Design Beautification Award. Bruce holds a Master's of Architecture degree from Tulane University and a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA. He has NCARB national architectural registration and is licensed to practice architecture in Oregon, Washington and California. He held a Contractor's License in California for 9 years and is presently a licensed general contractor in Oregon and Washington. He has acted as a construction superintendent and construction manager. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He has practiced privately in Portland for almost 12 years. |
